Stratford East Senior Housing
Stratford East is an affordable senior apartment community located on the southeast side of Columbus in Canal Winchester. The Community offers one and two-bedroom units in a friendly senior community.
The Stratford East Impact Solar project is generating renewable energy that offsets the property’s carbon footprint and energy costs. The owners of Stratford East are reinvesting the savings into the property to help keep the rent stable and affordable for the long term.
Stratford East has committed the savings delivered from the solar energy to maintaining affordable rents for the long term at Stratford East. In addition, the owners of Stratford East have used the projected savings to bring on staff from the Area Agency on Aging. The new staff provides service coordination support for the residents- helping the Stratford East residents thrive in independent living.
