Corban Commons

Corban Commons is a senior affordable housing community that is home to over 90 seniors aged 62-102 on the North side of Columbus, Ohio.

It has been owned and maintained by four local nonprofits for over 20 years: Homeport, Dayspring Christian Community Development Corporation, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church’s CDC,  My Brother’s Keeper and New Salem Baptist Church’s CDC, Community of Caring.

The Corban Commons Impact Solar project will generate renewable energy that offsets the properties carbon footprint and energy costs. The owners of Corban Commons are reinvesting the savings into the property to help keep the rent stable and affordable for the long term.
