Impact Solar Residential Pilot with PACT

CRE and our development partner, Clean Energy Ventures, have partnered with  Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) to pilot the Impact Solar program for residential homeowners to increase access to solar in historically underserved neighborhoods.

Through this pilot program 10 homeowners have solar installed on the roof of their homes locking in a low clean power rate for six years. After the contract expires, the homeowners assume ownership of the system at no cost allowing the homeowner to continue receiving electricty savings while enjoyng the benefits of owning the asset.

Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) is a place based organization working to create a healthy, financially and environmentally sustainable community where residents have access to safe and affordable housing, quality healthcare and education, and employment opportunities.

This pilot program is made possible by Fifth Third Bank and with support from the Columbus Region Green Fund.

THE TEAM

Community Renewable Energy is focused on increasing access to solar and climate action solutions for nonprofits, government entities, and low to moderate-income residents.
