The Welcome Home Team is coming to 2 Northern Ohio Cities this fall.
In Clyde, Community Building Partners will host an Informational Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24th at the Shelter House at Community Park. Read more in the Fremont News Messenger.
In Shelby, Community Building Partners will host an Informational Meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd at Shelby City Hall. Read more in the Richland Source.
The meetings will discuss construction timelines, buyer eligibility requirements, available addresses, and a detailed description of the homes.
The 3-bedroom, 2-bath homes will be built with energy-efficient appliances. These homes will be sold for under $220,000, and participants must meet program requirements, including completing a financial literacy course.
The City of Clyde and the Richland County Land Bank were each awarded $602,000 through the Ohio Department of Development’s Welcome Home Ohio program to support the construction of the 6 homes. The homes will be built adjacent to the existing neighborhood and will provide much-needed single family homes for Clyde’s workforce.
